The star of Wolves of the Mountain, Laila Nasr passed away at the age of 84, after a struggle with illness.


The able Egyptian actress died a short time ago, after she succumbed to a long struggle with illness, at the age of 84 years old.


Director Magdy Al-Nasser revealed the death of the artist through his official account on the social networking site "Facebook", publishing a snapshot of the late artist, and commenting on her saying: "We belong to Allah and to Him, we shall return."


Laila Nasr is a capable Egyptian actress, born in 1938. She appeared for the first time in the cinema in the movie “A Heart in the Dark” in 1950. Her work continued between drama and cinema until she married director Jamal Al-Damaty.


Laila Nasr gave birth to a daughter, the artist Raqiah Al-Damati, last work of the artist was 4 years ago, after she participated in the series "The Spiritual Father", accompanied by the artist Ahmed Abdel Aziz and Sawsan Badr.


The most famous works of the late artist were

  • Mountain Wolves, 
  • The Godfather, 
  • Twins and Birds of the Nile.


She participated in more than 150 artworks between cinema, theater, radio, and television.
